How many miles is that cloud shield encompass roughly?I'm sorry for all the damage and impacts of course, but for a weather nerd who took a couple days off work for this one, this has been an amazing event meteorologically. Just wow, even now.

Chattahoochee River at US 41 has thankfully now peaked at 24.11.Major flooding in the Atlanta area.
Yeah, it's gone from cloudy and blustery to bright, sunny and dry.Hopefully a reprieve for the folks in the flooded areas as very dry air blows in under the ULL.
