I'm looking at GR2AE--I have a placefile that has plots the locations of various Spotter Network members--and it looks like Brad Arnold may be the closest to the tornado.

I thought I saw multi vortices too...but radar isn't good at that...plus CC isn't clear to me

I wonder if this is swampy terrain with few trees to pick up and create a significant debris sig, but yeah I haven't seen a major CC drop either

storms are breaking out earlier than expected..a little more that just than isolated in west al.

yeah it may just be the type of debris....just not as clear as you would think

I said it was headed towards Tuscaloosa but actually headed due North

Looks like the couplet is starting to tighten again, can even see a C shape on reflectivity. Given the massive size of the inflow this is not over yet

Yeah I think the old circulation occluded and now there's another one trying to form.
