So, just from what I've been seeing, it looks like Alabama may not be involved in this Tuesday? Or perhaps just on the outskirts?
LCL heights for Tuesday may be a limiting factor if temps get into the 80s in the warm sector.
not yet but I'm sure more of Mississippi and Alabama will find a way to get more involved in the threat. You can nearly guarantee it! LOL!

I can see north Ms. Nw Alabama , west ky, west tn. Be involved in a fairly good threat.

The 18Z NAM EHI map almost looks like I imagine it would have for Palm Sunday 1965...large values extending from eastern Iowa across northern Illinois/far southern Wisconsin to northern IN and southwestern Lower MI. They don't extend quite as far east as the major activity did that day, but the overall pattern seems very similar.

Interesting.
Seems like a deliberate walk back to save face Incase small scale details lead to a flop. Don't blame him, easier to go slower than fast and fail.
Remember a D3 MDT would be spanning all severe types, not just tornadoes.
