He identifies and admits to the several mistakes he made, but I'm not so sure he learned much yet. Some things he seems to think are 'small' mistakes when the reality is that everything interacts and everything matters so that one 'small' change often makes a large diferrence in the outcome.

Since this is a public website, I will not post the gif that illustrates using this graph, but I assure you you can find it pretty easily if you want to see it.
 
As a bit of an update, Skip Talbot just recently put out a video analyzing the 4/4/2023 storm-chasing accidents, showing how and why things played out the way they did, and offering some lessons on what could be better done to avoid future incidents (especially a segment covering a "checklist" of sorts that was devised to help aid in storm-observing safety).
