Looks like they extended the tornado warning on the cell moving toward St. Louis until 10:15. Is anyone seeing indication there's anything actually on the ground?

Day One is basically an update of the Day Two, pretty much the same areas with an enhanced risk from LA through most of MS and west AL.

Also, it's worth noting that even though there was a good bit of significant severe today, as usual most of it occurred outside the highest risk area. Much of the south-central AR moderate risk area saw little severe.

The latest SPC Day 1 Outlook was a little less bullish. They removed the hatched areas for tornadoes, and the text now mentions short-lived tornadoes. Still 10% non-hatched tornado and 30% non-hatched wind probs.

I guess that LLJ is ramping up, the string of tornado warned cells E and NE of Baton Rouge have pretty strong velocities

I saw that earlier. It was a redraw of an existing warning. I am guessing it is easier to update than cancel the warning and thus they just moved the left edge in and let it expire.

That would make sense. I found the text from the update shown in that box. What I didn't include is the top part discussing the expiration of part of the warning, which is what you're talking about.
