You know theyll find more dead tomorrow. So damn sad.
I was thinking the same thing. That is the worse part about night events. You always feel there are more people out there but you can't find them.

I was about to go to bed in Decatur, but with the recent tor warning I guess I should stay up a little while longer

I'm now going to be on the far eastern part of the polygon. From the recent storm motion on the past few scans, I should be in the clear unless this thing tightens up and turns right.

Night tornados are pretty terrible. I've helped out at night after a couple of EF-1s - EF2s, and it was very hard to get around because of debris and damage. I can't imagine navigating on foot or as a first responder in a higher end event at night.

I think this is the slowest I have ever seen storms move through the state.

HRRR said we're going to be stuck with this mess for a lot longer.

In Trussville/Clay area here, keeping an eye on this Vance storm. If it comes into Jefferson County it might go just north of here.
