Severe WX Severe Weather Event April 13-14, 2019

We dodged a bullet here in NW Alabama. That monster storm was headed right up this way.

There has been no debris signature on the Marengo storm from what I can tell, but that's definitely one of the most violent mesos of the day. Probably had a couple weak touchdowns if nothing significant because that signature is the most persistent of probably any storm of the event. Isolated supercells ahead of the line mean business in this shear environment...

Highway 43 west should be okay. To the east just a bit longer but it’s starting to wind down. Just keep that wx radio on!

Day 1 is out and I did not see it posted here yet. , As a complete newbie who lives in Georgia right below Atlanta, how much confidence is there in this panning out to being a 'less severe' threat as they are predicting, as they just dropped my area from the enhanced risk to slight risk? I hope all of you are staying safe this evening.

Greensboro storm seems slightly weaker on velocity, but still a decently significant couplet. Would have seen CC drops as it moved over town if a significant tornado were down, I think.

Several models show the Torcon values increasing again as this moves into Ga as heating gets going. I usually still listen to the SPC as they are official and usually more correct than any model but watch their updates.

I realized about 20-30 minutes ago that the Marengo/Perry storm was on a direct path my way. The HRRR also decides to bullseye me.

Not liking this trend.
