Severe WX Severe Weather Event April 13-14, 2019

I have lots of homes to show today, so it will be tough for me to follow things until this evening. However, glancing at radar to the west, I got to wonder if they hold back on the high risk due to junk convection already firing around ARKLATEX, just looks messy to me right now.

Understand!! Hope you have success with your homes today! Thank you so much for posting, we appreciate your input!!

Are we still too far out from the main event that this morning’s activity would lay down a few boundaries to watch for later?

Warm front apprears to be around Montgomery

From the National Weather Service in Huntsville 10:24am ⚠️UPDATE: NOAA WX RADIO⚠️ ALL of our transmitters are back up and working, the phone company has resolved the issue.

BMX: The NOAA Weather Radio test will not be conducted today due to thunderstorms across the area. The test will be conducted on the next good weather day. You can still check your radio to make sure you're getting a signal (you should be able to hear a forecast clearly). #alwx

Good Advice for all states in the severe weather forecast:
BMX:
No matter what graph, what color, what image you see, the message is the same: prepare now so you can be safe if a warning is issued. Figure out multiple ways to receive warnings, check your weather radio, change out the batteries so they are fresh. Outdoor sirens WILL NOT WAKE YOU. Don't rely on them. Choose a safe place. If you don't have a safe place, contact your local Emergency Management Agency for shelter locations, check their Facebook and Twitter pages, as many share that information. Check with your local media for updates on safety information. Prepare that safety kit. Have it ready. Get your pet leash/carrier handy, and be sure you can reach your pets quickly. Taking even 10 minutes today could make a huge difference tomorrow!

My big concern for AL is that no one really seems to be taking this seriously and a lot of people weren't even aware we had a severe threat tomorrow. We're less than 24hrs out and there's still a lot of contradictory information between local mets, the NWS, and the SPC.

Really? What are you seeing? I feel like people are pretty aware of the potential threat tonight.
