I feel like that line has almost stalled out over east Mississippi. Flooding may become an issue with these heavy storms
That's the slowdown that NAM was pointing to when it had pressures still falling behind the line...as the secondary line gets closer. I fear they will merge earlier allowing the shear to take advantage of the higher CAPE on the front side of the first line.

Take a look at KDGX... the storms are still all lined up, but their signatures are looking a lot more isolated than the solid line we had earlier

is it just me or has the cc data just looked weird tonight? not as clear or just more junk

My husband has said the same thing for several hours now...

Couplet is weaker last scan, but should it persist, a TORE for Starkville isn't out of the question
