If we get too much sunshine/heating, we could have mixing issues. Looking at upstream soundings (LIX/JAN), they have a lot of dry air in the low levels.

The threat is going to be solidly underway by 18-19z if not sooner and looks to be trending down on the latest guidance. Still something to watch but my interest from 0z last night has gone down significantly.

Cloudy and cool here in Hanceville (southern Cullman County). Looks like it's about to rain but there's nothing on radar.

A March discrete cell TDS before 10am? Yikes

Overcast 'n' super windy here, a few raindrops, but the speed of the clouds screaming across above is pretty wild

SUMMARY...Broken band of supercells is spreading rapidly
northeastward across western Kentucky, and the trend should continue
into the afternoon across southern Indiana and potentially reach
western Ohio this afternoon. The fast moving storms will be capable
of producing tornadoes, a couple of which could be strong, along
with damaging winds and isolated large hail.

Curious as to why we're seeing supercells going tornado warned so quickly this morning. Is there just that much shear for the storms to play with or what?
