Hurricane Category 4 Hurricane Helene

I am wondering if the RI that's about to begin is going to time near perfectly where there isn't much time for a EWRC before landfall.
Typhoon Winnie as analog? Huge eyewall from the beginning, just wound up tighter.

Tropical Storm Warning now for most of FFC's forecasting area. The entire area is under some kind of tropical cyclone-related warning now.

Craig always does a wonderful job with communicating the hazards. I've been fortunate to meet him.
 
Wow. 2 states completely covered in tropical cyclone advisories and all but 3 Panhandle counties in Florida.
Edit: I forgot about Okaloosa, Santa Rosa and Escambia in Florida!

Hey mods, I asked a similar question with the last tropical threat. Are we going to post inland storm threats (tornadoes, flooding, wind damage) in this thread or another? Seems like tornado threat this go around will probably be more potent than the last event.
 
An outer band of Helene brought some possible waterspouts over the FL Keys.
 
Nothing odd, just a (post) tropical storm in Nashville....
