I'm a Bulldog. The cell near Ruston has me worried. I thought it was going to sail SE of the main university and the areas in that part of town where a lot of students live.

These are tending to be pretty far from radar sites unfortunately. Definitely looks like a significant event underway now, yikes.

SPC put out an MD just covering that supercell in SW Arkansas. Not sure I've ever seen that before.

Very uncommon, I've seen it but not when there's so much else going on at the same time.

There's a lot of small (and poor) communities in that area. I've done a lot of camping along West AR when I lived in Texarkana

Individual supercell MCDs aren't common but I've seen it a few times before, clearly this could be a rather bad situation downstream

Yeah, I certainly wasn't questioning it, obviously it's a storm with a bad history moving into a very favorable environment, I just hadn't seen it before.
