It also looks like a bit of an uptrend on the parameter space into more of northern Illinois, although the simulated convection doesn't explicitly reflect it.
 
"Tornado Alley" in OK/KS is literally an anachronism at this point, it's just not where the action happens anymore.

I remember Fox News ran an article back in 2022 about the decline of tornado activity in Kansas - literally three or four days later, the Andover EF3 (arguably EF4 imo) touched down.
