The suspect that the FBI caught has been released, was not the shooter the manhunt is still on.

Agreed. Both sides have no right to kill someone just because of disagreement.I usually don't like to get involved in politics, but right now, I will say this.
Anyone celebrating, or using this to push their political agenda? Take a good long look in the mirror. Just because you disagreed with him doesn't mean that this is a good thing. And if you're using it to denounce the other side, then your no better than those who think this is funny.

Seriously, people, on BOTH sides, need to learn when to stop. The man was killed in cold blood for his beliefs. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY deserves that.
This is vintage Cold War/Sixties cynicism, so feel free to dismiss this suggestion -- it is not 100% impossible that this undeniably dark moment is professionally provocatory, timed as it is with us stepping over the line of civilized behavior recently by killing, without proof offered to justify it, 11 people near Venezuela; Russia stepping over the line into Polish air space; and Israel bombing Qatar.Wouldn't be surprised if whoever the shooter was got hired to do this - a 200 yard shot and got away without being caught, at least for now? Whoever it is knows what they're doing, that's for sure.
I think the old guy that was at the event that got arrested and was yelling shoot me I did it (or whatever he said that was similar to that) . Definitely stunted things because they believe the shooter was in custody which helped the real shooter get away easier. Odd situation. As of 7:52 AM EST, the shooter has not been arrested. We can only hope he is though.
It's almost hard to believe this is even happening.
To me I go to Occam's razor. People hated him for his views just like people hate trump for his and his policies so somebody decided to try to assassinate him because they hate him just like they tried with trump. I considered the other ideas, but how a lot of people on the left are celebrating, I just see this as a plain political assassination. This whole situation stinks real bad of some treachery. Anyone I see on the right calling for war is an absolute imbecile. We still don't know who the shooter is and what they stand for. Lo and behold, there's engravings on ammo. Really? Call me skeptical - especially when the person who did this very clearly and obviously knows what they are doing. How in the world did they get away with it? I have a feeling they are going to "get away" and they're gonna remain completely anonymous. Of course, I'd love to see this shooter caught, but until that happens I won't believe it.
Who is benefitting from this? Trump. He's rallying MAGA together right now. This benefits no one on the left. I'm not straight up saying this was something orchestrated by that side because there isn't nearly enough evidence for it as of now, but it is certainly a possibility, and to deny that it isn't is insane to me. He was losing his base hard when it came to the Epstein stuff, but now they have this occur and all of the sudden a civil war is a possibility, which would absolutely aid in keeping him in power and taking eyes away from Epstein files. Also, yesterday they voted against releasing the Epstein files again - conveniently timed, I would say. A super narcissistic megalomaniac like Trump is not someone I would omit from committing an atrocity like this for the sake of his own hatred against the left.
Yeah, people on the internet are talking crazy on both sides. However, anyone calling for actual war is completely off their rocker and that takes it a step even further than anyone who "isn't feeling bad," or "glad" about it. This is going downhill. Fast.
I'm wholly against politically-incited violence but I do see where others from the left come from from a progressive standpoint; Kirk was a horrible (in my opinion) person who advocated for some extremely vile homophobic and racist things, such as the execution of LGBTQ+ people. I do have sympathy for him, his family, and his kids who had to watch that, although I do keep in mind that he spent much of his time here hurting and putting down other minority groups who seriously suffered due to his words and actions. To me I go to Occam's razor. I just hope that there's no retribution from the right. Charlie would of course being the Christian he was and the good man he was, would be against retribution.
He said a woman that was raped should have to carry on her pregnancy. He repeatedly pondered Great Replacement Theory, which is core white supremacism. Man, at least be honest about his stances on things. "Sure he was homophobic but..."I hope the guy gets caught. Like everyone else here has said, this can't be justified in any significant manner.
Charlie Kirk said some things I agreed with, he said a lot of stuff I didn't like. Big whoop. Doesn't mean he was deserving of death. Hell he wasn't even that bad of a guy. Sure he was homophobic but he never actually did anything wrong other than saying things that groups of people didn't like. Hell, he actually was one of the only major political figures that heard the other side out and, at times, agreed with the other side.
No matter what you think of him, Charlie Kirk did not deserve to die. And seeing the reactions of people on Twitter and Bluesky utterly disgusts me.
His stance on Leviticus 20:13 is one of his most striking things to me - he basically said that LGBT people should be stoned to death because that’s “god’s perfect plan”. Abhorrent, and I find it a little difficult to sympathize with someone who wished death on several different groups of people. He said a woman that was raped should have to carry on her pregnancy. Okay I didn't hear about those things. Do I agree with him on those? Hell no, but that wasn't my point. He said a woman that was raped should have to carry on her pregnancy.
