Severe WX Wednesday/Thursday/Friday April 17th-19th Severe Threat

Not that precise modeled locations are always accurate but I hate that the models are all showing the apex roaring through Walker. Yeesh

Latest SPC update.

...Lower MS Valley/Central Gulf Coast States...
Considered an upgrade to a tornado-driven Moderate risk but have
deferred mainly due to uncertainties regarding convective mode and
lack of intense/long-track updraft helicity signal from the HREF.

Radarscope seems to be working for me right now, but if it fails tonight when things start happening here in North Alabama, it'll be their second outage on a day with possible severe weather IMBY in the last month or so. That isn't what I paid $10 for.

It is like the 3rd or 4th outage this year during an event. You are so right that isn't what you, or I, paid for.

HRRR still on board with a pretty wicked bow coming through N AL.

New Tornado Watch for parts of MS and LA until 9 pm. No Alabama counties are included yet, but it is as far east as the MS/AL border. 70/50 TOR probs for this watch.
