You know, I think today would have possibly verified a high risk at this point. But given parameters I could see why issuing one would have seemed overkill at first.
Sounds like a classic overachiever of a storm system when you put it that way.

Good thing KEVX is up and working, has a great view of that TDS approaching De Funiak Springs.
I think I even saw a tiny debris ball a pixel or two wide. Always weird to see in embedded linear clusters.

I don't recall seeing this many clear TDS's in one day since 4/28/14 (I don't believe dual-pol products were operational on 4/27/11).

I think I've seen more TDS's today than in most of last year combined. Big time red-letter day.

Waynesboro is a pretty sizable city (ca. 5,000 people). I went to elementary school up through third grade there. Can't make out any debris on radar but a nasty rotational signature.
