Ungood.Check out that CAPE over AL.
Not sure the storms will be able to utilize it though, but the HRRR has been less than admirable for this entire eventConsidering the time frame, it's a lot higher than what it was saying the last few runs.
I'd say main saving grace, especially for Alabama, is the speed of advancement. Storms won't have much time to piddle around, so hopefully it'll spare us from more significant storms. Not sure the storms will be able to utilize it though, but the HRRR has been less than admirable for this entire event
Just for example the current hrrr run says around 1000-1600sbcape as max around central Alabama right now lolConsidering the time frame, it's a lot higher than what it was saying the last few runs.
Also, if we can keep that cloud cover over the ATL metro, it'd limit destabilization to a degree, though whether that happens remains to be seen.I'd say main saving grace, especially for Alabama, is the speed of advancement.
