Please do post if you see that they realese the sounding.Per twitter BMX has a balloon launch scheduled for 11:00 cst. With things slowing down some it looks like that should end up ahead of the front.
ETA: straight line wind damage reported in Marion and Lamar counties. Just because these winds ain’t spinning doesn’t mean they’re not dangerous.

I expected peak gusts to be 10–15 kt higher than this, so this seems rather underwhelming, given forecast parameters a few days ago.WITH STRONG WIND FIELDS IN PLACE, THESE STORMS MAY BE RATHER EFFICIENT AT PRODUCING WIND GUSTS OF 60-70 MPH.
