I wonder if there's one of those supercell/tornado-enhancing microclimates along the corridor just west/north of Tallulah going into MS. I remember quite a few along that track going back to at least Yazoo City 2010.

Yeah it’s just one of those local zones where stuff takes off. Ours is Beavercreek-Xenia. Indiana state line-Celina is another one farther to my north.
