Feel bad for anyone on I-44 driving west from Springfield, showing 4 inch hail now.The Springfield storm looks like it's taking on more of a supercelluar shape.
A bit off topic, but I just noticed a strange feature on the Springfield, MO radar.
Check out the center-right - there's a distinct linear shape moving east to west (the opposite direction of the weather)
It's persisted for 3 scans on both reflectivity and radar, and it's moving. No flights in the area.
Any guesses?
