Cypress / Tomball cell is really concerning...could drop a strong tornado based on velocity trends.

That latest MCD from SPC don't give me the warm fuzzies at all.

I'm not really seeing it. Looks like it's merged with some convection behind it and has broadened out. It would have been interesting to watch if it could have stayed out front. Maybe it will reorganize.

Some of the cells South of the big one bear watching. Faint hooks might be trying to form.

I've been buried in Christmas celebrations and haven't really been following the weather. Nearly missed this one.
Looking at some surface obs and data it looks like the environment is already overperforming from the forecast. Not good.
Instability is skyrocketing in south Lousianna a good bit higher than modelled.
