...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1130 AM CST FOR
NORTHWESTERN HARRIS COUNTY...

At 1103 AM CST, a confirmed tornado was located over Cypress, or 10
miles northwest of Jersey Village, moving northeast at 30 mph.
Public public report of a touchdown near HWY 290 and Spring Cypress
road at 1055 am.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and quarter size hail.

Good example of where just enough of an EML can be dangerous, especially for Dixie Alley events, where messy storm mode can still spit out intense tornadoes.

No reason it should have taken a public report for the TX warning to go TORR. The TDS was obvious and colocated with the couplet for at least 10 minutes before that.

What did we spend the money on the dual-pol upgrades for if they're not going to use it?

That they mentioned a possible upgrade in previous outlooks definitely doesn't give me warm fuzzies.
