Severe Weather Threat 12.26-12.29.2024

Second unwarned tornado near Otis.

Now they put a Reported Tornado Warning on it when clearly it's confirmed
 
Despite weakening thermos and relatively little change in the kinematics, these storms are likely riding a boundary and intensifying along it.

This tornado, north of Otis, remains unwarned and is heading directly for Gardner, LA.

Clearly the southern storm has a better CC drop than the northern storm, but still. That CC drop west of Gardner matches up with where the rotation is. Thankfully, it looks like it went north of Gardner
 
That southern storm west of Calcasieu, LA will track just Northwest of Alexandria on it's current trajectory.
 
Worth noting these two are heading from the general vicinity of Alexandria - population 43,000.
