miles southwest of Votaw, or 8 miles west of Thicket, moving
northeast at 35 mph.
This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!
HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
What do you happen to notice? My radarscope is quite messy.Something big could be brewing for downtown houston....
Lots of broad rotation over Houston, I don't think anything is down at the moment, but to the SW there is some small clearing out that these cells need to pop. What do you happen to notice? My radarscope is quite messy.
Velocity isn't all that impressive. It has the look on reflectivity and there is definite rotation, but I don't see enough to justify a TOR at the moment. No tight couplet and relatively unimpressive winds.SVR warning. Surprised it hasn’t gone TOR yet.
