Could be a lot of reasons, likely not having enough confidence in the meso making it to the ground being the prime reason. But in your case I would absolutely be taking shelter in case it does continue to tighten up.How come they haven’t issued a tornado warning?

Might wait another minute or two but you should be good by then.Any updates on the storm? My radar wont work for some reason.
Just checked parameters in depth for the first time for this timeframe, seen some chatter. Some fairly robust parameters. I'm excited for our first real winter season severe/tornado event.A D3 Enhanced Risk has been issued for parts of LA, MS, AR and AL for an all-hazards threat.

Rather surprised by the uptick in depicted threat intensity myself, and December/January systems can be particularly dangerous when they're accompanied by sufficient destabilization. An out-of-the blue enhanced for Day 3 does not give me the warm fuzzies. Not liking the part about "multiple rounds" either.
It also opens the door for a further upgrade to Level 4 Moderate. An out-of-the blue enhanced for Day 3 does not give me the warm fuzzies. Not liking the part about "multiple rounds" either.
Yep, D3 Enhanced days are fairly rare and is a strong signal for potential severity of the upcoming system. Really happy they started doing two D3 updates instead of just one.It also opens the door for a further upgrade to Level 4 Moderate.

Heading in my direction.TOR just issued for El Campo storm.
ME TOO! Hopefully, in the future, they'll do the same thing with the Day 4-8 Outlooks/Discussion. That would really be helpful as well.Yep, D3 Enhanced days are fairly rare and is a strong signal for potential severity of the upcoming system. I can hear the forecasters crying from here! (I second this though, at least for active periods).ME TOO! Hopefully, in the future, they'll do the same thing with the Day 4-8 Outlooks/Discussion. That would really be helpful as well.
