Listening to the St. Mary, MO radio scanner. Sounds bad. Hearing multiple buildings destroyed in town and vehicles flipped.

Boy, this escalated quickly. Was not expecting this much after dark, had kind of written this event off as another (relative) dud following the briefly tornadic storms further north in MO.

Reports of trees and power poles snapped, metal roofing torn off, and at least one home completely destroyed in the Junction City/Fredericktown, Mo area.

Have to be at least some very very strong winds over or just south of Perryville. Velocities are intense but somewhat broad and CC is inconclusive ATTM.

I have a work friend in Mt. Vernon, IL. Is the Chester tornado still on the ground?
All of the warnings are back to radar indicated threats. There is a chance the storm could cycle back up and produce another tornado, but does not appear to be on the ground at this moment.

I fear Irvington took a direct hit by that tornado. Also, it appears the warning was dropped, despite a CC drop still being evident.
I wouldn't have even noticed that one had it not been for the TDS. Didn't look like there was anything there on velocity.
