Hurricane Melissa

This is truly an upper-echelon Atlantic Hurricane. Could even rival Hurricane Gilbert

Hard to confirm but I think Cyclone Winston at 884mb in 2016 is the lowest official pressure reading at landfall. Anyone know of any stronger? I am certain that Haiyan was but no official readings were ever provided. Absolutely positive that this is a multi generational event unfolding. We’re watching the tornado equivalent of a super outbreak.

The latest update from recon had them flying around the eye and repeatedly they measured 890's mb,,,so this thing is off the chain.

Save this image. You are watching the physical limit of the Atlantic basin being pushed right now. We are watching something easily historical for weather history. This is just so mind boggling on a meteorological perspective.
