The NHC says the Hurricane Force winds still extend only out 30 miles but the Tropical Storm force winds extend out almost 200 miles.

EASILY below 900 right now. I'd put good money on 885-895 mb and 190 MPH right now.

This is a once in a very long time storm. I can't believe I got to witness it.

Post analysis will be very interesting. I'm putting this storm in the top 5 of all time in the Atlantic. 185mph+ sub 897mb

Hurricane Gilbert in 1988 became the second strongest Atlantic hurricane on record with a pressure of 888 mb…Gilbert made landfall in Jamaica as a Category 3 hurricane…anything is possible… and now the unthinkable is happening…a Category 5 Hurricane is just hours from making a potentially catastrophic and devastatingly historic landfall in Jamaica…that storm is Hurricane Melissa…

Let us pray for those in the path of destruction that this storm will bring upon them….and may everyone who is in the midst of Melissa stay safe and sound…
