I had grown sure it was well into the cat 5 range by now but yet again the recon tells a different story.I wouldn't call it weak, recon hasn't sampled the strongest quads yet and pressure may still be dropping.

Well, I was close enough...Not with a model consensus this universal on a Jamaica landfall.
As for the storm itself I see 2 distinct possibilities:
1. I see a C5 when I wake up tomorrow morning or at least at some point tomorrow
2. "Close enough, welcome back Hurricane Eta"
