I'm more so just confused as too why this thing is so weak compared to its presentation.

I wouldn't call it weak, recon hasn't sampled the strongest quads yet and pressure may still be dropping.

I had grown sure it was well into the cat 5 range by now but yet again the recon tells a different story.

As for the storm itself I see 2 distinct possibilities:

1. I see a C5 when I wake up tomorrow morning or at least at some point tomorrow
2. "Close enough, welcome back Hurricane Eta"
