Severe WX March 23-25th, 2023

Yep, looks like Rolling Forked upped to 190mph. Not a surprise really, but goes to show this tornado was certainly very violent. Worth saying another great survey, I think some of the surveys in the last year or so have been very good, though maybe that’s just me.

The Tornado Emergency for Monroe County MS on March 24th. This was the first ever Tornado Emergency for the county.

Was one not issued on 4/27? I know the Alabama offices were pretty liberal with them that day (with good reason).
Nope. That is one thing I found to be very shocking.

Of course, with MEG, it's like grinding teeth to even get them to mention a severe weather threat even more so with mentioning tornadoes/strong tornadoes threat.

Either they didn't expect it to get out so widely (unlikely since the DAT is always widely scrutinized) or further analysis is underway, wouldn't be shocked if that was prelim and it's revised down as there hasn't been a PNS to officially update it afaik
