I’m losing braincells looking at these absolute, adrenaline junky, smooth brain donkeys, that apparently have no concept of danger nor death; just planting themselves in front of tornadoes.
What an utterly pathetic state storm chasing has been reduced to.
Things like we’ve seen this year are going to either end up outlawing it if this continues yearly or have it to where you need special licensing in order to do it.

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...
CENTRAL CASS COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN TEXAS...

* UNTIL 915 AM CDT.

* AT 840 AM CDT, A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO
WAS LOCATED NEAR HUGHES SPRINGS, OR 22 MILES WEST OF ATLANTA,
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

HAZARD...TORNADO.

SOURCE...RADAR INDICATED ROTATION.

Feel like spc should drop the 10% hatched tor probs to a 5 or 2% for the risk area as no models are showing any discrete activity and winds are unidirectional which encourages linear mode and wind damage plus we're gonna be stuck with cloud cover all day
Yeah there’s also a lot of crapvection out there right now so I’m skeptical of the prospect of a major sigtor threat.

Getting hit now by a nice morning thunderstorm, complete with heavy rain and cloud to ground lightning - just as I like them! As fascinating as tornadoes are, southeast Michigan is way too built up now to take on a sizable Outbreak, so I'm kind've relieved that the chances for significant tornadoes has dropped by a lot. Still seeing mentions of the possibility for weaker tornadoes and decent sized hail though, so I'll have to keep an eye on that as the day progresses. Plus, weather's weird, and surprises happen now and then.

SPC ended up dropping the 10% which is probably the right call. Definitely wouldn't be shocked for a storm to still pull some shenanigans later today though. And as Taylor said, northern parts of MS should keep an eye out based on CAMs guidance.

A couple of active warnings north of Indianapolis and southeast of Little Rock but neither looks that impressive on velocity.

I'm really tired of living in the northwest corner of Alabama that keeps sliding its way into the risky area!
