I'd like to see tens of millions of people out there this Saturday, holding "Impeach Trump" signs,
For every negative there should be a positive.
I do think the current POTUS should be impeached for taking too much power and, if it falls under the "offense" category, for encouraging divisiveness and being
way too partisan -- for not being the
whole country's CEO, i.e., failure as a leader and manager.
A little investigation would probably reveal shenanigans, too -- something that can be said about most administrations but perhaps more so with this one, particularly in international dealings.
That said, Mike commented that Trump has done some good things. Danged if I can see them right off the bat, but I'm going to look for them (and hope Mike and others might share their views, too).
1. It's probably backhanded but nonetheless a compliment that this all must have shown many progressives and other left-of-center types that there are other points of view in this country. Ignoring, ridiculing, and otherwise invalidating them for your own benefit is how you get more Trump. This is bad. Accepting others is good, and finding areas of mutual agreement -- not even a concept to many people over the last half-century or so, rather than point/counterpoint shouting -- would be even better.
2. We
are in a bad financial way as a nation and Trump is doing something, which is more than past administrations and Congresses recently have been capable of.
3. I like his emphasis on US workers. Biden's "Let them learn to code," in reference to the pipeline workers really sucked.
Gah! My head hurts!
