Does that mean it will cool with evaporation or not and we get sleet/freezing rain

Would likely at least start off as sleet/freezing rain. If/when the warm nose erodes, it could mix with or change to snow.

What I'm hearing that the evaporation will happen depending on timing....I hope it happens! Anti-ice!!

One good thing from the BMX sounding: the warm nose isn't quite as deep. Looks like it was about 6300 feet deep at 12z, and 4600 feet deep at 15z. It will be really interesting to see what the noon sounding shows.
