Severe WX March 30th- April 1st 2023 (South, Southeast, Ohio Valley, Upper Midwest)

Very significant wind rowing feature for keota EF4. This thing was capable of doing something bad.

Good thing it missed towns; was a very close call for Farson, Martinsburg, Ollie, Harper and Wellman (slightly less so for Keota). There are lots of teensy communities that dot the rural Iowa road grid, more than you'd expect. It's similar to Kansas in that regard.

I'm curious what the survey finds was damaged just south of and on Highway 92, which would be the debris in my video. Hoping it wasn't (a) house(s), but at least it seems the only serious injuries were near Ottumwa with the first tornado.

DMX/DVN still have it all as one tornado all the way from Wapello County to northwest of Kalona in Johnson County. Hope it gets corrected soon...radar should tell the tale in addition to chaser video.

That reminds me, anyone save any radar grabs of the Iowa supercell? I neglected to do so in the heat of the moment.
It was in a weird place radar wise, but I got a few screenshots off my phone when I was watching it on radar omega.

Those would be right as it was about to get munched and the tornado was about to rope out northwest of Kalona. Thanks, though! Hoping someone has some from near/during the cycle southwest of Keota. I agree Iowa radar coverage leaves something to be desired, with only KDMX and KDVN in the state.
