For what it's worth, Bill Parker from JAN was interviewed on the news, and he called the Rolling Fork damage quote "probably the worst tornado damage assessment" he's been on in his whole career.

Woof. Man, I got chills when you could hear the roar off in the distance as he got closer to it.

I think what’s even scary is that most regular people (not us storm enthusiasts who follow this stuff closely) during night time tornados are driving around without a second thought, not realizing what is bearing down nearby.

I wouldn't want to be on the northeast part of the tornado. Because that's the part of the tornado that is generally moving directly toward you!!!

Definitely think that Amory tornado had EF4+ winds near the beginning of its lifetime. Its very lucky it didn't hit Amory at peak strength otherwise I fear we would have seen another Rolling Forks.

Quick note - that's the scar from the Blackhawk–Winona EF3, which tracked 29 miles. The 59-mile Rolling Fork EF4 mostly passed over tree-less Delta terrain.

The amory tornado was fast. It had an average forward speed of over 71mph

This is why there's gonna be another El Reno. Today's chasing style is "get close, get video, don't worry too much about safety". Mark my words, more chasers are going to die...

Yeah, kind of like how we expected Mayfield to be the epicenter of the worst damage but some pretty intense indicators were found out in Bremen/Dawson Springs etc

Really curious (and anxious) to see that damage along MS-14 east of Anguilla. That's probably the EF4 area NE of Rolling Fork - haven't seen anything from there.
