Some HRRR runs from earlier afternoon hinted this was a possibility, showing small discrete cells popping up in west MS. Updraft helicity tracks weren't particularly impressive but given the implied small size of the cells they were suggestive.

Confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado on the furthest north warned storm in MS.

I’m seeing what looks like one (debris ball) on the farthest north cell that is just south west of Calhoun city, though it looked a little less defined on the last scan.

KGWX wind profile is still quite favorable for tornadoes, so northern/northeastern MS may not be done yet

Calhoun city has been hit directly by a large tornado, the cc drop got deeper when it hit Calhoun, already got some reports of people trapped inside their homes
