Hope so, but, that image is just a 1 hour estimated average reflectivity. The frames before it had less, so it is building.

I decided about a decade ago to stop looking at models within 24 hours of a winter weather event and to just watch what it does. I'm happier for it.

Trust me, it will move. Earlier today it showed Walker couty in the white spot. Now in this one I am a solid blue. No worries.

Noticing some of the models such as RAP and HRRR showing a warm nose in the 700mb-850mb parts of atmosphere. Not sure how great those models are at this range, but it's something to think about at least....

From my understanding the wave coming a shore on the west coast seems to be stronger than originally forecasted.
