It seems nicely parallel to the population centers, so hopefully that continues. Not that there aren't still some homes in the path wherever it goes.

NE LA is pretty sparsely populated for the most part ... thankfully. Monroe is quite populated though. I am worried that a left trend puts a lot of people at risk.

I saw on The Weather Channel a classic supercell with a hook headed towards downtown Kansas City. Fortunately, the velocity was not strong on radar.
