It's an increasing threat for us here in east central Alabama early morning tomorrow 11z, extending over into west central Georgia through 15z.

Plenty of model support for a tornado potential with this threat.

TOR Pickens, and definitely more cellular looking storms now. More like short line segments. Not that many of them are severe but looks like really high winds with some of the segments and bows from Pickens to the SW

Looks like some warmer than expected mid level temps advected over top what small warm sector we had and really capped the updrafts of these storms as they got further east. Likely had some wind damage across Western AL, and overall the system produced 100+ wind reports.

But -8-10C 500mb temps won't keep those updrafts sustained....

I wonder if the storm south of Pike Road is going to or already has produced a tornado. It's shown an area of rotation capable of doing it for several frames.

At 18z, on the NAM it shows two areas, one in east Alabama and east of Atlanta that shows possible PDS tornado for what that is worth. On the GFS it shows possible tornadoes in those areas a little bit farther to the SE. It is definitely more humid here as the morning has gone on. At last check here it is 68/65. It wouldn't surprise me if we got more tornado action from a Marginal risk from the SPC compared to the Moderate risks.
