They are pretty much saying it’s a mcs , but if they go cellular they will produce, so pretty much just guessing right nowWut…
How is that a back peddle?
It’s totally understandable to think this. This is something I’m all too familiar with here in Ohio - just last year we had a big moderate risk over the whole state and it ended up not panning out to be what was forecasted. All the people I told about nasty weather came up to me and said many things, including things similar to “meteorologists are paid to be wrong” and stupid stuff like that. There isn’t a whole lot we can do about it because the weather will do what it wants to regardless of what we think. At the end of the day, we can warn and warn people about the potential of a violent outbreak, and ultimately it comes down to the individual on whether or not they want to listen or heed warnings.
Thats the area I've been highlighting. I still could see a potentially strong/violent tornado in that corridor tonight1 hour StormNET shows only one cell that needs to be closely monitored, but others could easily develop.

The ceiling of the event has been conditional on storm mode throughout the event today. That’s what people were getting at this morning. Still a bad outbreak though, and we’re not out of the woods quite yet.Oh NOW things are conditional on storm mode?
Is this a tad bit of a back petal or no?
I think an Eye Roll Reaction would be fantastic. By the way here is a noisy comment:Same… also to the mods:

If we could SERIOUSLY add an “eye roll” reaction that would be greatly appreciated. We could use that instead of replying to certain…. “noisy” comments that we have seenThere’s been a lot and they make it difficult to read (find?) the MOST IMPORTANT info. It can be our way of telling someone we don’t like what the person said without creating extra posts. Imagine saying something and you see 20 people “roll their eyes” at you hahahahahhahaahaha
We don’t need to see the same TORE, WW, MD posted 20 times when they are issued lol
Eye roll reaction! PLEASE! Lol
@WesL @MichelleH @JayF (and whoever else I forgot to tag lol)
Definitely not just you. It is happening. Is it just me or is the storm mode in Tennessee trying to become more discrete? There are currently a few warnings up there.
was about to post this. it’s got a juiced atmosphere to work with.Yep demopolis storm has a meso. Watch out for that storm in the near future
Crazy tornado video from Tylertown, MS. A family recorded the tornado striking their house.
A lot of that had to do with the jet max being slower than what was modeled. It was back in Texas this morning instead of punching directly into the warm sector at peak start. A lot of the upper level modeling just didn’t pan out
Tell me about it, y'all make pages about as fast as I can read themOk… it’s SOOOO hard to read every message in here sometimes. Thank you for the clarification!!
