Tornado Warning issued south of Atlanta. We got what sounds like downburst winds here.

Edit: Lots of leaves and limbs blown around, but thankfully we never lost power.

Watching TV 11 live out of Atlanta. Seeing circulation and radar TOR spinups in a few places but the line is weakening and will stay to my south. The fun here will come mid-to-late afternoon w/ TS and STS with low TOR probabilities.

Don't know if you could call this whole mess an outbreak but it's been right busy for severe weather!

With the QLCS tornadoes in AL, probably will end up with enough tornadoes to be an outbreak. Considering the outcome - a few standout, strong-to-intense tornadoes, and a spattering of less intense ones, was a solid Moderate call by SPC.

I missed most of the excitement, I had chores to do outside, went to the grocery store, and took several age-and-insomnia induced naps. It seems that this scenario always happens with me. And same as always I wake up really well as it ends

Maybe I should post a warning on TW when I'm going to be away from the computer so everyone knows something is about to happen :p As always it's been an interesting experience and I've learned something. Glad it wasn't worse and yeah the SPC pretty much nailed it.

I sometimes am able to take power naps ranging from like 30 to 60 minutes and when I wake up I feel like the Energizer Bunny.

Morning. Sorry for just disappearing last night. Power went off so I just went to sleep. I see Huntsville NWS did confirm a small tornado hit downtown Athens, AL. Considering the potential this line had for violence, I think Alabama came out pretty OK. (Of course, I haven't seen everything yet.)
