So awful... I saw the TOREs on Twitter. That is just so heartbreaking. Looks to have been really intense. Lots of homes swept away with rowing/granulation evident.
I am surprised this was not the case already given the LARGE slight risk. Next update should be issued in an hour. After seeing the RRFS and HRRR, I'm kinda expecting an upgrade to Level 3 Enhanced with 10% TOR upgrade for parts of Central into North MS and parts of western AL.
I know, same here. I’m still worried about the rural areas that may have been impacted by the Knox, IN tornado was it was approaching peak intensity.I'm still nervous to hear about the damage near Wheatfield, IN. I mentioned this before, but I believe around that area was the peak intensity of that tornado, just based off the pictures of the tornado I saw.
In regards to Lake Village, IL, I saw a tweet (that I can't find anymore) locating one of the slabbed homes, and I noticed that the bushes located near the camera in one of the photos is simply reduced to stubs, which is pretty impressive.
