Yesterday was the first time I was legitimately scared of a tornado. I thought that supercell was gonna keep on producing tornadoes up until it hit Elkhart County.

Looks like manufactured homes, but that doesn’t change the fact that they are peoples homes.

That is just so heartbreaking. Looks to have been really intense. Lots of homes swept away with rowing/granulation evident.

I think this is the first time we’ve had a hatched tornado risk since I’ve lived in this area. It’s a 5# which wasn’t possible before but still. Our timing is probably going to be right around rush hour too, which is…not ideal.
Took a quick look, and surprised to see the hrrr has about 2/3 isolated supercells ahead of the line into Mississippi and Alabama.

I know the pictures are from a distance and I’m not 100% sure what that structure was. However, that looks like some degree of debris granulation?

This is a hot take but I wouldn't rule out a small 10% near Mississippi Alabama border if things uptrend a little more through the afternoon.
After seeing the RRFS and HRRR, I'm kinda expecting a upgrade to Level 3 Enhanced with 10% TOR upgrade for parts of Central into North MS and parts of western AL.

Most of the CAMs don’t fire much in the way of prefrontal convection up here, soundings are pretty firmly capped until well after 0z.

Said this yesterday morning. The cell that produced all the tornadoes in Lake Village, Wheatland, etc was a good example of a storm just riding the boundary out and continuously taking advantage of the juiced environment. I think we're lucky that those other cells that tried to fire around Bloomington and Peoria area could never really properly get going or else it could have been a lot worse in the 15% risk area.
