Yeah if only, we just hit a record high at DCA (99).

A SVR warned cell down this way too in Montgomery County. Wouldn’t say no to some rain right about now.

Had a few minutes rain some hours ago- the cooling was very welcome!

I'm mainly pointing it out saying "severe thunderstorm outbreak" and "tornadoes, some of which may be strong". I haven't seen that wording in tornado watches here before.

Somewhat related, but is it just me or is there something wrong with the KCXX radar? Literally all the convection east of the radar site just disappears.

Might be on the NWS's end, I've seen it cutting out on the NWS site too. Great time for radar issues.

Edot: trying to swap radar sites around I cannot see anything past a N/S line stretching from Burlington, VT south to Long Island Sound.
