I'm in the town next over, and lived in Richmond just a month ago. It didn't maintain that strength for long, but it definitely looked serious for a moment. Wonder if it hit anything..

Here's some of my footage of wrinky dink shelf cloud over Oxford today.

I plan on going to Minnesota last week of May and staying for a few weeks. Long range models are showing a favorable pattern for the Midwest in that timeframe. I'm hoping I can get a few good storms while I'm there. I'm going after anything that pops off in the Midwest in that timeframe.

What’s everyone’s thoughts about May so far severe wx wise?

Anything showing up in the last weeks of May long range model wise? Or will this be another “quieter” May like we’ve grown accustomed to

So far, it’s been a quiet May, and I don’t see the status quo changing. It’s such a weird pattern, with these high ridge blocking patterns seemingly taking over one after another.

There's some indication of an El Nino year coming. If that happens then it would be intertesting to compare this year's TOR WX with other EN initiative years.
