Gulf Shores cell is definitely trying to tighten up, the cell over Mobile Bay has strong rotation as well and Moss Point is under yet another TOR.

There have probably been four or five tornadic waterspouts over Mobile Bay in just the last couple of hours. Very odd event. Has the feel of a tropical tornado outbreak with all the northward to even NNW-moving minisupercells, but there's no tropical cyclone anywhere to be found.

I wish I had rented a boat for the day to chase all the tornadoes in the bay. That would have been super cool!

Does anyone know why Mobile’s NWS doesn’t send up weather balloons? Also looks like Tallahassee doesn’t either. Would have been great to get soundings during the tornado event for research and development.
