Yeah, the HRRR and Broyles absolutely nailed today.

After this outbreak is done, I would highly recommend watching this video about the 1990 outbreak (runtime 33:25):Things have transpired a bit further south and west of this event, but some of the earlier footage reminded me of this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/June_1990_Lower_Ohio_Valley_tornado_outbreak
It definitely feels that way, but that's probably due to the fact that (if this sequence breaks 100) the 2020s have had the most 100+ tornado outbreaks than any other decade and we're only halfway through the 2020s.I thought there were at least a few more than that.
2019 was one I believe.
Broyles, is that you posting ;pView attachment 41982
Broyles made roughly 130k in 2023. The highest paid federal employee in Oklahoma is a physician, who makes $430k a year. Broyles saves at least 560k per outbreak, so yeah, he's due for a nice raise.
Yeah the timing could not have been worse for short lived tornado in the worse possible place..The St. Louis tornado causing fatalities is really sad. I’m not sure it was as high-end of a tornado as some of the ones we just saw over the past 2-3 hours, but that doesn’t matter in situations like this. I wonder if the roof collapse mentioned earlier in the thread is where some of those fatalities took place?
Also noteworthy how violent it got so fast.Easily in the top echelon of the most violent roar from a tornado I've heard. Jesus Christmas.
