The St. Louis tornado causing fatalities is really sad. I’m not sure it was as high-end of a tornado as some of the ones we just saw over the past 2-3 hours, but that doesn’t matter in situations like this. I wonder if the roof collapse mentioned earlier in the thread is where some of those fatalities took place?

The roof collapse at that church sounds reminiscent of what happened at the Goshen Methodist Church on Palm Sunday 1994. Hopefully the death toll doesn't get anywhere near as bad as that one...

2025 has had quite a reputation of causing a sense of nostalgia for some previous hit towns.

Now the question is.. if there is an eF4, how are the offices in these areas?

I believe that Marion is in Paducah's WFO. I wouldn't doubt that its possible that it gets rated EF-4 since they are decent with contextual damage. We still got to get better images for us to definitively tell how well built the home was.

It had some pretty sweet structure illuminated by lightning. Unfortunately, I spent way too long fumbling around with my DSLR (that I don't know how to use at night) before I gave up and started taking phone pics, which would have turned out better if I'd switched sooner. It's been near continuous lightning for like the past 30 minutes.
