Severe WX May 2019 Plains Severe Event

I wonder what the record is for most moderate risk days in a single month

Recalculated for more accurate storm motion, the 0320UTC VWP for Dayton is just the stuff of nightmares and it's hardly shocking that storm went bonkers... >650 0-1km and nearly 950 0-3km SRH. Looks like it rode the warm front perfectly to maximize intense tornado potential.

Thats the highest value I've ever seen in the range of any convection. Good lord, I go out for one night...I have an ex girlfriend who lives in the area. Trying to contact her today; hope she's okay.

Celina had an extreme TDS height, perhaps even more than the Dayton cell, despite its crappy radar appearance so I'd not be shocked to see some higher end DIs there

No words for the Meteorologist or for the people complaining about their show being interrupted. I for one dislike it when people complain about their TV show. In this day and age we can watch TV anywhere and get the show after it has been aired.
So people would rather die while watching their favorite TV program than heed a Tornado Emergency telling them they are in an extremely dangerous life threatening situation. I don't like to lose service either but if it is a potentially life threatening situation involving a violent tornado then I want to be able to have time to get to safety.

Maybe it's my weather enthusiast bias (and the fact that I hate and watch no TV at all save for weather coverage) but I've never ever understood how some stupid TV show that will get reruns many times can be even in the same league of importance as dangerous weather which can and often does take life and property. And then have the audacity to claim there was no warning after being hit while deliberately ignoring it. Human nature makes me so angry I avoid comment sections for stuff like that.

Someone should send him a rose. Just sayin' :)
Seriously these people have no concept of what is important in life. Dangerous situations are so deserving of the attention given and these trolls on social media are morons. Wish they would call them out by name.

Tornadoes seem to prefer 5 to 10/hatch lately anyway, I think the bump to 15 was due to a shift change at SPC more so than meteorology lol

Tornado Warnings are going out for PA two of them within 5 minutes of each other.

Brett Adair's projected area for possible violent tors later on today/tonight (5/28) is far northern Kansas into S. Nebraska/SW Iowa. The warm front will be the focus for all the action.
All severe parameters look strong and the surface flow is "extremely backed".

Marysville, KS is his initiation point.
